The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University (MEU), Dr. Yaqoub Nasir-Eddin, along with faculty members, administrative staff, and a crowd of students, participated in a solidarity stand held in front of the Grand Al-Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman to commemorate the anniversary of the Nakba and reaffirm Jordan's firm stance toward the Palestinian cause.
The university's participation expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, supported their legitimate rights, and backed the national positions led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in defending the Palestinian cause and protecting Arab principles amid regional challenges.
Participants emphasized the importance of national unity and supporting official and humanitarian Jordanian efforts that bolster the resilience of Palestinians. They praised the role of the Jordanian state in establishing stability and defending just Arab causes.
The university's involvement reflects its commitment to instilling values of belonging and national awareness among its students, enhancing their presence in national and humanitarian events that embody their responsibility toward the nation's core causes.
