Zain and National Cyber Security Center Launch Digital Awareness

Amman, May 18, 2026: In line with its commitment to strengthening digital security and protecting the community from potential personal data breaches, Zain Jordan, in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Center, announced the launch of a digital awareness campaign aimed at promoting safe internet practices and shedding light on the growing risks in the digital space.

The campaign seeks to reach all segments of society, equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to enhance their digital awareness and safeguard their personal information.

This initiative comes amid the increasing prevalence of cyberattacks and online fraud attempts. For the second consecutive year, Zain and National Cyber Security Center are joining forces to empower individuals to protect their personal data and avoid falling victim to deceptive links, messages, and phone calls. The campaign aims to reduce financial losses and other consequences associated with data breaches, while strengthening trust in digital services and contributing to the development of a safer and more informed digital society.

The campaign also focuses on enabling individuals to navigate the digital world securely by offering practical tips and easy-to-understand guidance on securing personal accounts, creating strong passwords, identifying online fraud schemes, and responding effectively to cyber threats.

Zain stated that this campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safe digital practices and encourage positive online behavior. These efforts support the protection of both individuals and institutions and contribute to building a more secure digital environment amid rapid digital transformation and increasing reliance on online services and transactions.

The initiative also aligns with Zain’s sustainability strategy, under which cybersecurity plays a central role in advancing digital, economic, and social sustainability by protecting data, ensuring service continuity, and enhancing the resilience of digital infrastructure.

The campaign features a variety of engaging and interactive awareness content, including short educational videos tailored to younger audiences and shared through social media platforms, in addition to SMS messages targeting older age groups to raise awareness of online fraud tactics and how to avoid them. This multi-channel approach ensures that the campaign reaches the broadest possible audience.

The campaign has already generated more than 2.5 million views, reflecting the growing public interest in cybersecurity awareness and the importance of promoting responsible digital behavior.

Users can follow the interactive content and benefit from the practical tips shared through Zain Jordan’s social media accounts and the National Cyber Security Center’s official platforms.
