Amman, May 18, 2026: Out of commitment to enhancing digital security and protecting society from potential personal data breaches, Zain Jordan, in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Center, announced the launch of a digital awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness about safe internet usage and highlighting growing digital risks, with the goal of reaching various segments of society to ensure their education, enhance their digital awareness, and protect them.
This campaign comes in light of increasing fraud attempts and cyberattacks, as Zain launches this initiative in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Center for the second consecutive year, aiming to empower individuals to protect their personal data and avoid falling victim to misleading links, messages, or calls, thereby contributing to reducing financial losses or any consequences related to personal data leakage, enhancing user confidence in digital transactions, and contributing to building a more aware and secure digital society.
The campaign also aims to empower individuals to safely use the digital space by providing simplified tips and guidance on protecting personal accounts and the importance of using strong passwords, in addition to raising awareness about electronic fraud methods and ways to confront them, and enhancing the ability to deal consciously with cyber threats.
Zain indicated that this campaign falls within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance a safe digital culture and establish positive behaviors in using the digital space, to contribute to protecting individuals and institutions, and to support building a more secure digital environment in light of rapid digital transformation and the increasing reliance on digital means and transactions. This campaign also aligns with Zain's strategy in the field of sustainability management, where cybersecurity is a pivotal element in enhancing digital, economic, and social sustainability by protecting data, ensuring service continuity, and enhancing the resilience of digital infrastructure to contribute to building a more secure digital environment.
The campaign includes producing and publishing diverse and interactive awareness content that features short, simplified videos targeting youth across social media platforms, in addition to sending awareness text messages to older age groups to raise their awareness of digital fraud methods and how to avoid them, ensuring the widest possible reach among users.
