Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi receives on Tuesday his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, who is conducting an official visit to Egypt. The visit comes as part of the two countries' efforts to strengthen their bilateral relations and follow up on the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed between them in 2014.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the visit aims to bolster cooperation between the two nations across political, economic, and developmental fields, as well as monitor the execution of the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
He added that El-Sisi and Xi will discuss several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
