The President of Zarqa University, Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, received, on Wednesday 9/20/2023, a delegation from the National Aid Fund headed by its Director, Ms. Khitam Shneikat, with the aim of discussing cooperation between the two sides in the professional and technical fields.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Dean of Zarqa Intermediate Technical College, Dr. Munther Krishan, Al-Ramahi stressed that the cooperation between the two parties is consistent with the university’s mission and strategic plan, which includes strengthening its local, regional and global partnerships with the public and private sectors and linking with industry to serve the local community.

He added that cooperation with the Fund will result in the implementation of vocational projects and programs targeting the children of the Fund’s beneficiaries in the field of rehabilitation, training and employment to support them towards professional programmes.

For her part, Shneikat expressed her happiness with the university’s achievements at the local and international levels in the professional and academic fields, stressing that the Fund looks forward to achieving a partnership with the private sector and civil society institutions, due to their importance in forming training programs that are in harmony with the standards and needs of the Jordanian labor market.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited the workshops of Zarqa Intermediate Technical College and some of the university’s workshops and facilities.
