Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Israeli Likud party leader Benjamin Netanyahu in a phone call on his victory in last week's elections.



A statement from Netanyahu's office said the former prime minister thanked Zelensky during the conversation, which was "warm and personal."

A new government for the occupation



Zelensky said he congratulated Netanyahu and "wished him success in forming a new government."



"I expressed my hope that the (Ukrainian-Israeli) interaction will be on the level of the security challenges facing our two countries," Zelensky tweeted.

Biden congratulates Netanyahu



In a separate context, US President Joe Biden congratulated Netanyahu in a phone call, on the occasion of the latter's victory in the Knesset elections.



And Netanyahu said in a tweet on his personal page on Twitter, on Monday, that Biden called him and congratulated him on his victory in the elections, saying: The alliance between the United States and the Israeli occupation is stronger than ever.
