Arab Bank recently provided its golden sponsorship for the activities of the Seventh Conference on Healthcare Quality, which was organized by the Health Institutions Accreditation Council under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein the Great. The conference was held at the Kempinski Amman Hotel under the title “Quality from a Global Perspective - Future Aspirations” with the aim of including the principles of quality and safety of patients and workers in the health sector and making it a priority and essential for all operations and production in the health field. His Excellency the Minister of Health opened the conference as a representative of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
The conference, which was held over two days, included six dialogue sessions and workshops under the supervision of a group of experienced and competent lecturers in the field of improving the quality of health services and activating the principles of patient safety in Jordan and the Arab and international world. The conference also witnessed the attendance of more than 700 participants from the fields and specialties of the health sector, including administrators and service providers, to benefit from global, regional and local expertise and discuss the latest global innovations in these fields and how to employ them to serve the local health sector, in addition to discussing the relationship between digital health, artificial intelligence and quality.
The Arab Bank’s sponsorship of this conference comes within the framework of its constant commitment and keenness to support initiatives and conferences aimed at supporting vital sectors, including those related to medical aspects, and to support efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development and in appreciation of the great role played by the concerned authorities in the medical sector in keeping pace with health developments in all areas. Its fields aim to develop and improve health services provided in the Kingdom and enhance the principles of quality and safety of patients and workers in the health sector.
