An Israeli military official announced, Thursday, that Israeli special forces are searching every building and every floor in Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an Israeli war since last October 7.

The Israeli military official told Reuters that hundreds of patients and medical staff were still in the Shifa Hospital complex.

The official claimed that "Hamas worked to hide infrastructure and cover up evidence in Gaza's hospitals."

The Israeli occupation army carried out an operation during which it stormed the largest hospital in Gaza on Wednesday, which includes medical teams, before withdrawing its soldiers and tanks, which sparked widespread international criticism.
