The College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with the Mövenpick Hotel Amman, organized a welcome and hosting ceremony for new students at the college, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Business and the College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Professor Dr. Fayez Haddad, and members of the faculty and administrative staff at the college.
Mr. Amin Al-Arda, Executive Director of the College, welcomed the new students and introduced them to the members of the teaching and administrative staff and the College’s facilities. He emphasized in his speech that the decision to enter the world of hospitality and culinary arts is only the beginning of a unique journey in learning the culinary and hospitality arts and acquiring the basic skills that pave the way. To shine in the professional world of hospitality.
In his welcoming speech, Professor Dr. Fayez Haddad provided the students with basic information and the exhaustive laws and instructions at the university and college in preparation for the path they will take in their university life, wishing them all the best and success.
The introductory day included a field visit to the Mövenpick Amman Hotel, “the main partner of the college.” The students were received by Mr. Ayman Rashid, General Manager of the hotel, who presented an overview of the hospitality sector in Jordan and the region and presented motivating success stories for the students. The visit concluded with an introductory tour of the hotel’s departments.
The Welcome Day at the College of Culinary Arts is not just the beginning of academic life, but rather a showcase of culture and art in the world of cooking and hospitality, and paves the way for a wonderful and inspiring journey in realizing students’ dreams in the field of hospitality, cooking and innovation.
It is worth noting that this is the third batch of students from the College of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, which was established in 2023, and which is considered one of the modernization and development plans adopted by Al-Ahliyya Amman University to be contemporary with modernity, keep pace with all changes, and be a pioneer in developing the most in-demand specializations in the labor market.
