The Palestinian Prisoners' Club said that while the prisoner exchange agreement was being implemented to release dozens of detainees in Israeli prisons, the occupation army continued its arrests in the West Bank during the days of the temporary truce.
Amani Farahna, media officer at the Prisoner Club, told Anadolu Agency on Monday, “During the four days of the humanitarian truce, the Israeli authorities carried out an arrest campaign in the West Bank, including the city of East Jerusalem, targeting 260 Palestinians.”
Farajna pointed out that this comes “as part of a campaign of raids on Palestinian cities and towns, accompanied by acts of sabotage and attacks on detainees and their families,” and pointed out that since October 7, Israel has arrested 3,260 Palestinians in the West Bank.
She pointed out that "the detainees are interrogated by Israeli intelligence officers, and some of them are released after hours or days or are transferred to administrative detention (without charge) or trial."
