Zain's sponsorship of the conference hosted by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development as part of the 11th Electronic Games Industry Summit came as a continuation of its continuous efforts and its keenness to support the e-sports sector in the Kingdom, which it has been keen to support since the opening of its center in the year 2020 to embrace Jordanian talent, develop players' skills, and hold events that It deals with sports and electronic games with the aim of developing this vital sector in the Kingdom and enhancing Jordan's competitiveness in this growing field globally. Zain, through its Electronic Sports Center, is keen to be present in various events concerned with this field, in addition to organizing the largest tournaments in the Kingdom.
The conference, which is the largest gathering of game makers, young developers and experts in this industry, was launched, with the wide participation of those interested in the gaming industry, including developers, workers and international companies, and in partnership with the British company Steel Media. This year, the conference attracts more than 100 speakers from the game industry. Participants from all over the world exchange knowledge, ideas and studies in this field, as it includes the addition of mobile technologies Android and iOS, computers, console, blockchain, metaverse and XR through multiple paths.
