Spain's national team faces "Al-Nashama" in the last stop before heading to the World Cup

On Thursday, the national football team will face its Spanish counterpart in a friendly match, the first between them, in the last stop for "La Roja" before the World Cup in Qatar, which starts next Sunday.



On Wednesday, the national team completed its physical and technical training, led by Iraqi coach Adnan Hamad, in preparation for the friendly match at 7:00 pm Thursday at the Amman International Stadium.



Meanwhile, the Spanish national team players practiced at the Amman International Stadium on Wednesday evening.



National team coaches Hamad and Spaniard Luis Enrique held a press conference on Wednesday.



Hamad said during the conference that the Al-Nashami match with Spain is "an important occasion that gives great confidence and experience," and the team seeks to benefit from it as much as possible in the upcoming events, including the Asian Cup.



Hamad talked about striving to get the best out of the match with one of the strongest teams in the world, and a candidate to win the World Cup in Qatar.



Enrique, for his part, expressed in the press conference his happiness at arriving in Jordan, and said that the Jordanian national team match is important and will not be easy.



3 Spanish players will be absent from the friendly match, according to what Enrique announced, who spoke about the absence of Alvaro Morata. While the Spanish Federation announced the injury of left-back Jose Luis Gaia.



And Spain, the world champion in 2010, signed its team in Group E, along with Germany, Japan and Costa Rica. The Spanish national team will meet in its opening match in the World Cup Costa Rica.
