His Majesty King Abdullah II expressed his deepest condolences to the leadership, government, and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the passing of Iranian President and Foreign Minister.

In a tweet, His Majesty said, “Deepest condolences to our brethren in the Islamic Republic of Iran — leadership, government, and people — on the passing of brother President Ebrahim Raisi, and brother Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, as well as their accompanying delegates.”

His Majesty added, “May God have mercy on them all. We stand in solidarity with our brethren in Iran during this difficult time.”
