National boxing team player, Hussein Ishaish, has qualified for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024), following his victory in the final bout of the world boxing qualifiers, which concluded on Sunday in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ishaish successfully won today against the Armenian player, Rafael Hovhannisyan, in the qualifying match for the under 80 kg category.

With this qualification, Hussein Ishaish marks his third Olympic appearance in his career, following the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Ishaish joins his colleagues in the national boxing team, Obada Al-Kasbeh and Ziad Ishaish, who have also qualified for the Paris Olympics.

The number of Jordanian athletes qualified for the Paris Olympics has risen to nine, including the taekwondo quartet, Juliana Al-Sadeq, Rama Abu Al-Rub, Zaid Mustafa, and Saleh Al-Sharabaty, gymnast Ahmad Abu Al-Soud, table tennis player Zaid Abu Yaman, and the boxing trio, Obada Al-Kasbeh, Hussein Ishaish, and Ziad Ishaish.
