Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said on Thursday that Spain will join the genocide lawsuit filed by South Africa at the International Court of Justice against Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.

Spain will thus be the second European country to join the case, which Ireland has already joined, in addition to Chile and Mexico.
