Amman - Bachelor students of the Computer Security and Cybercrime program, hosted from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK, showcased their graduation projects related to the development of advanced systems for threat detection, encryption protocol development, and machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms.

The university’s partnerships with its counterparts in Britain establish unique and high-quality academic programs. The aforementioned program is the first and only one in Jordan that issues a degree from the parent university in Britain, meaning it is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and its British counterpart.

The projects demonstrated advanced levels in creating algorithms and tools capable of identifying potential cyber threats and mitigating them in real-time, as well as identifying patterns associated with cyber-attacks and dynamically adapting to new threats.

Student projects included studying current encryption algorithms and identifying potential vulnerabilities, then proposing improvements or entirely new protocols to ensure the safety and confidentiality of data across various applications, from financial transactions to personal communications."
