The International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) announced that Jordan has won the bid to host the ISPRM 2025 conference. The 19th edition of the conference will be held from May 19 to 22 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center in the Dead Sea region, after strong competition with several countries to host this important event.
The bid was presented by the Jordanian Society of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board. This achievement is considered a significant milestone for Jordan, as this global conference will be held for the first time in the Middle East, having usually been held in Europe and the United States.
Dr. Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, the General Director of the Jordan Tourism Board, expressed his gratitude for the joint efforts made to enhance Jordan’s position as a distinguished destination for global conferences. These conferences attract visitors and participants from around the world, playing an effective role in boosting the region’s tourism revenue. Arabiyat explained that through their participation, they would significantly contribute to promoting tourism to Jordan through this type of tourism.
Arabiyat added that the conference is expected to attract more than 1500 participants from over 100 countries worldwide, where strategies for medical rehabilitation on a global level will be discussed, and the latest medical developments in this field will be presented.
On another note, Dr. Khalil Al-Abadi, the conference president, confirmed that the conference would witness the participation of prominent scientists from all over the world, in addition to scientific research and workshops in the field of rehabilitation medicine, presenting the latest updates in this area.
