The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced yesterday that it has received more than 1.5 million pilgrims during the Hajj season this year, through all of the kingdom’s entry points, until the end of June 10.

The General Directorate of Passports clarified in a statement that “the number of arriving pilgrims of mercy from outside the kingdom through air ports reached 1.4 million pilgrims, while the number of arrivals through land ports was 59,200 pilgrims, and 47,000 pilgrims arrived through sea ports.”

The General Directorate assured that all its capabilities are available to facilitate the pilgrims’ entry procedures, through supporting its portals at international airports and land and sea ports with the latest technological equipment that works on multiple languages by qualified human cadres."
