On Sunday, the Israeli occupation army announced that it will enforce a "tactical ceasefire in military activities" daily in a section of southern Gaza during specific hours to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.

According to the army's statement, the "local tactical ceasefire in military activities for humanitarian purposes will be implemented from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day until further notice," starting from the Kerem Shalom crossing to Salah al-Din Road and then northwards.

The statement noted that this decision was made as part of efforts "to increase the amount of humanitarian aid entering Gaza," following discussions with the United Nations and other organizations.
