The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the discovery of 84 Jordanian pilgrims among the 106 listed as missing according to the database prepared by the Directorate of Operations since the reports of missing and deceased Jordanian pilgrims began.

The ministry added that search operations are still ongoing for the remaining 22 missing Jordanian pilgrims, with joint efforts from the task force formed by the ministry, working around the clock in coordination with the Jordanian Consulate General in Jeddah, the Jordanian Embassy in Riyadh, and the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Hajj Mission, which previously confirmed the safety of all pilgrims from the official Jordanian mission, with the assistance of the relevant Saudi authorities.

The ministry noted the issuance of 41 burial permits for Jordanian pilgrims to be buried in Mecca, as per their families' wishes.

The Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs clarified that the relevant Saudi authorities are providing the necessary medical care for the 84 found pilgrims, whose health conditions range from good to critical.

The General Consulate team in Mecca continues to provide consular services to the pilgrims and monitor their conditions with the relevant Saudi authorities.

The ministry emphasized that the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs is in constant communication with the families of the deceased and missing Jordanian pilgrims. The consulate team in Mecca visits Jordanian pilgrims in hospitals to ensure their safety and monitor their conditions.
