Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, President of the Gaza Health Initiative in Jordan and the Middle East and General Manager of the Specialized Hospital, mourned the loss of the two humanitarian duty martyrs from the Jordanian Arab Army: Sergeant Emad Al-Aram and Soldier Yahya Othman Al-Siyah. They passed away following an accident involving three military trucks loaded with medical aid destined for Gaza on the Dead Sea road. He extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished recovery for the injured who are currently hospitalized.
Al-Hammouri highlighted the significant role of the Jordanian Armed Forces in providing humanitarian support to Gaza, through land and air shipments of aid as part of efforts by the armed forces and the Hashemite Charity Organization to alleviate the suffering of those in Gaza facing severe famine due to the ongoing siege and attacks.
Additionally, Al-Hammouri praised the Royal Medical Services for maintaining the operation of the field hospitals in Tel Al-Hawa in northern Gaza and Khan Yunis, supplying these hospitals with medical staff, medicines, and supplies, and providing humanitarian services to treat the wounded and sick in Gaza.
He affirmed that the Gaza Health Initiative continues to support the health sector in Gaza by sending medical teams from Jordan and various countries worldwide, in coordination with the initiative's humanitarian organizations, and by consistently sending medical and humanitarian supplies. This ongoing support is a priority for Jordanians under the leadership of King Abdullah II in supporting their Palestinian brethren. He prayed for God's mercy on the martyrs and for the safety and security of Jordan.
