Amman – Middle East University presented its vision on artificial intelligence technology to 50 Arab and international universities during an international conference organized by the Association of Arab Universities, the Chinese Universities Association, Ajloun National University, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.
The university was represented by Mohammed Aliwat, a student from the Faculty of Information Technology, who participated in several training programs provided by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. He took part in various meetings and panel discussions focusing on the latest research and innovations in artificial intelligence, addressing ethical considerations and responsibilities that accompany AI development, including fairness, transparency, and reducing biases in AI systems.
The panel discussions highlighted the future of higher education, especially with the AI and digital technology revolution, along with the evolving role of educators who must harness the full potential of these technologies to prepare students for the new world requirements.
The university also participated in an informational exhibition featuring dozens of educational institutions, where attendees praised the university for its good reputation in knowledge, research, and technology within academic circles.
