Amman, July 10, 2024: Extending its longstanding strategic partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation and aiming to expand cooperation frameworks to serve Jordanian youth, Zain Jordan, through its innovation platform (ZINC), announced its strategic partnership with the "42 Amman" program—a computer science and programming initiative under the Crown Prince Foundation—launched in Amman last February and officially inaugurated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Monday.
This partnership underscores Zain’s pride in its continuous collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation, aiming to bolster joint efforts to support education and develop the technical skills of Jordanian youth. Zain's innovation platform (ZINC) will provide stimulating and advanced educational opportunities for participants in the "42 Amman" program, enhancing their skills in key areas such as cybersecurity, advanced algorithms, artificial intelligence, game development, robotics programming, and systems and network management.
Through this collaboration, Zain aims to advance the IT sector in Jordan by enhancing national competencies and talents, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to keep pace with global technological advancements. This effort will improve employment opportunities by bridging the gap between educational outputs and market demands, increasing productivity and innovation across various sectors, supporting the national economy, and creating new job opportunities. This aligns with the strategic goals of Zain's innovation platform and its mission since its inception in 2014 as an incubator for Jordanian creatives and young talents.
The "42 Amman" program, part of the Crown Prince Foundation, offers free training aimed at developing a generation of programmers through project-based collaborative learning without the need for teachers or lectures. The program includes multiple training phases where students learn essential skills through individual and group projects and participate in field training to become qualified programmers without needing prior professional experience.
It is worth mentioning that the "42 Amman" program is part of the global Ecole 42 network, which has 54 locations in 31 countries worldwide. Its graduates have achieved high employment rates in global tech companies. According to the Crown Prince Foundation’s future plans, the program will soon be launched in Irbid to serve youth in the northern region.
