Amman Al-Ahliyya University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Manar for Visual and Audio Media Production – Cybrax, based in Saudi Arabia, represented by Executive Director Engineer Reem Al-Zamel, accompanied by Regional Initiatives Manager Engineer Dohaa Rahahleh.
The memorandum aims to promote cooperation in awareness, training, and skill-building in cybersecurity for students.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Qasim Khurma, and the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs / Director of the Cybersecurity Center, Professor Dr. Musleh Abu Al-Hajj.
The agreement stipulates providing students with field training opportunities in academic specialties at Cybrax, inviting students to participate in seminars and workshops organized by the company to build skills and awareness in cybersecurity, and participating in competitions hosted and sponsored by the company. Additionally, it includes publishing articles on cybersecurity in Cybrax's specialized magazine in Arabic, focusing on cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan emphasized the university's commitment to updating its specialties to keep pace with technological developments, especially in future professions, by providing training and qualifications to equip graduates with the necessary skills to compete in the local and regional job markets, highlighting the university's pioneering role in Jordan and the region.
He also pointed out the university's efforts to build partnerships and relationships with various local, regional, and international institutions to provide advanced training and skills for its students across different specialties.
Engineer Reem Al-Zamel, Executive Director of the company, praised the level of Amman Al-Ahliyya University and appreciated the university's efforts to build strategic partnerships with leading institutions to provide an outstanding educational and training environment for its students.
At the end of the meeting, after the signing, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan presented the university's commemorative shield to Engineer Al-Zamel in appreciation of the company's delegation visit to the university.
