The Executive Director of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, Ayman Samawi, expressed great satisfaction with the progress of the "Bashaer Jerash" program for young talents in its eleventh edition, emphasizing its role as a fertile source of real cultural and artistic talents by discovering and presenting them to the community for support and nurturing.
Samawi, during the announcement of the participants for the eleventh edition of the program after a series of search, exploration, and evaluation processes supervised by specialists in each creative field, stated that the festival has continuously supported young people and will provide them with outstanding and remarkable appearances.
He also noted that all program activities will take place on the stages and exhibition halls of the Royal Cultural Center from July 25 to August 1 to facilitate participants and their families.
Program Director, author, and media personality Ramzi Ghazawi, said that the program does not poets, writers, or artists but rather focuses on discovering genuine, authentic talents and providing a platform to launch and highlight them, ensuring they receive the care and attention needed to serve life.
Ghazawi expressed happiness with the increasing number of applicants for the program each year, noting that the program, launched in 2012, covers poetry, storytelling, cinema, fine arts, photography, and Arabic calligraphy. He praised the support and encouragement of the festival's higher committee, executive management, public and private universities, and the writers and artists who recommended talented individuals for participation.
