Yemeni poet Gaber Al-Badani, who resides in America, will participate in the 38th Jerash Festival this year. After his successful participation in the previous festival, he returns to his audience in Jerash and his friends in the Jordanian Writers Association and the Union of Writers with new poems. Al-Badani excels in classical Arabic poetry, enriched with vivid imagery and strong contrasts, as showcased in a poem that was highly applauded by the audience.

Al-Badani is also a storyteller and translator with a bachelor's degree in microbiology and a higher diploma in biotechnologies. He writes various forms of classical Arabic poetry, including meter-based poetry, as well as colloquial, lyrical, and Nabati poetry in different Arabic dialects.

Many critics have studied his poetic experience, and his poems have been used as material for graduate students in the Arab world. His notable poetry collections have been published in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. His upcoming collections include "In the Hands of Amman" and "Telling the Cold." He has also published collections like "Something from Rilke," "Tanoura Dancer," "Diddilk - The Possessed," "Strange as the Rail," "The Chargers as Poetry," "As if It Were Poetry," "The Magician," and "Whispers of the Poem." Additionally, he has a short story collection titled "Leda" that is currently in print.

Al-Badani has performed many poems in Jordan, where he has many friendships with its poets and writers. The Jordanian Writers and Authors Union has granted him honorary membership in recognition of his creative contributions and literary presence in Jordan and the Arab world.
