The Shahed - Ayman Samawi, Executive Director of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, expressed great satisfaction with the 11th edition of the Bashayer Jerash Youth Talent Program, emphasizing its essential role as a fertile mine that provides the cultural and artistic scene with genuine talents by discovering and presenting them to the community for support and nurturing.
During the announcement of the participants' names in the 11th edition of the program, following a series of searches, excavations, and evaluations overseen by specialists in each creative field, Samawi stated that the festival has always supported young people and will offer them distinguished and remarkable appearances.
Samawi pointed out that all program activities will take place on the stages and exhibition halls of the Royal Cultural Center from July 25 to August 1, making it easier for participants and their families.
Ramzi Al-Ghazzawi, the program's director and a literary media figure, stated that the program does not poets, writers, or artists; rather, its role lies in searching for and identifying genuine talents, providing a platform for their launch and prominence, so they receive the care and attention they deserve to serve life.
Al-Ghazzawi added that he is pleased with the increasing number of applicants each year, noting that the program, which started in 2012, focuses on poetry, storytelling, cinema, visual arts, photography, and Arabic calligraphy, praising the support and encouragement from the festival's high committee, executive management, public and private universities, and the writers and artists who recommended talented individuals for participation.
In the field of poetry, participants include Areij Mahmoud Abd Brais, Mahmoud Mohammad Yaser Yusef, Waad Mohammad Taher Al-Qudumi, Huda Mohammad Ali Makhatrah, Abdullah Yusef Abdulrazak Al-Zu'bi, Khaloud Ibrahim Khalil Al-Waked, Salah Adnan Al-Zu'bi, Abdulraouf Al-Samadi, Yazan Saleh Suleiman Abu Audeh, and Masa Husam Al-Zu'bi.
