In its ongoing efforts to support youth and education sectors and to equip Jordanian youth with technical and digital skills for sustainable employment, Zain Jordan, in collaboration with the Vocational Training Corporation, has announced the enhancement of its free training courses. These courses, which have been offered for the past 16 years at Zain's six centers across various governorates, will now be intensive, comprising 700 training hours in three specializations.
Zain Jordan has expanded its free training courses available to both males and females, regularly offering them in mobile device maintenance and electronic gaming device maintenance (PlayStation and Xbox). The courses have been extended to six months instead of three, covering both practical and theoretical aspects. Trainees will gain the necessary theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and performance capabilities, earning accredited certificates that enable them to pursue these professions and secure jobs immediately after graduation. Zain also connects graduates with companies in the gaming and mobile device sectors, provides transportation stipends after the training period, and supplies all maintenance tools and equipment.
Zain explained that this initiative is part of its ongoing partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation to develop and support the youth and education sectors, particularly vocational and technical education and training. It also aims to reduce poverty and unemployment rates, thereby enhancing and sustaining economic growth in the Kingdom. The initiative seeks to supply the vocational and technical sectors with qualified young national talent capable of succeeding in various fields by improving the alignment between the educational and vocational systems and the changing labor market requirements in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Zain's centers have contributed to the labor market with over 2,000 graduates, many of whom have achieved notable success by establishing their own maintenance projects. According to Vocational Training Corporation statistics, employment rates for center graduates are 80% for males and 60% for females.
Zain Jordan announced on its official social media pages that registration for its free courses can be done by visiting one of its training centers at the Vocational Training Corporation branches in Zarqa, Irbid, Tafileh, Karak, and Salt, as well as the Zain Center at the Wadi Seer Training College-UNRWA for courses designated for Palestinian refugees, or by visiting the Vocational Training Corporation's website: [https://ereg.vtc.gov.jo/Zain_AppM.aspx](https://ereg.vtc.gov.jo/Zain_AppM.aspx).
