Zarqa University organized an awareness course titled "Introduction to the New Traffic Law" for its bus drivers on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in collaboration with the Public Security Directorate. The course was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Majed Musaadah, emphasized the importance of such awareness courses as part of the university's role in implementing recommended public safety standards.

The course aimed to enhance the skills of the university's transport drivers, improve their security skills, provide practical and theoretical knowledge on the new traffic law, and ensure the safety and security of the students.

The course was conducted by Major Abdul Karim Al-Khalidi from the external patrols and Warrant Officer Ghaith Jabarat.

Major Al-Khalidi highlighted that the new traffic law is a positive step towards adherence to traffic safety conditions, reducing road accidents, and preserving lives and property. He called for the concerted efforts of all societal institutions, especially universities as centers of knowledge, to minimize traffic accidents and promote a culture that rejects undesirable behaviors.
