The Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, as part of its development plan, seeks to contract a distinguished individual for the position of General Manager, under an annual contract. **Qualifications:**
- Jordanian nationality, with a Master's or PhD in Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public Administration, or a similar field.
- Preferably, a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing institutions, organizations, or business entities similar to the Chamber.
- Extensive experience in the commercial, service, and industrial sectors, as well as in international business environments and their impact on the national economy.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
**Responsibilities:**
- Developing plans, proposals, and executive programs to assist the Board in implementing the Chamber's strategic plan, projects, and service development in line with future changes and challenges, aiming to transform the Chamber into a smart chamber, with specific work plans and overseeing their implementation.
- Implementing and following up on the Board's decisions with relevant local and international entities.
- Managing the Chamber's team institutionally and executing the Chamber's digital transformation objectives.
- Overseeing the performance and achievements of the Chamber's staff to ensure the best services are provided to its members according to appropriate performance standards.
- Building relationships with the Chamber's general assembly members and employer associations.
**Personal Skills:**
1. Experienced leadership with strategic planning and organizational skills.
2. Familiarity with the regulations governing the Chamber's work and the laws and systems of its governmental partners.
3. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
4. Teamwork and time management skills.
5. High computer proficiency.
Salary will be based on experience and competence, with a renewable annual contract.
