Amman - Middle East University has announced the dates for the "Silver Jubilee" graduation ceremony, under the patronage of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Yaqoub Adel Nassereddin.
The naming of this class coincides with the Kingdom's celebrations of the 25th anniversary of King Abdullah II's accession to the throne, in recognition of the university being part of the great Jordanian achievements during his wise reign.
This class includes the 18th cohort of master’s students, the 4th cohort of higher diploma students, and the 15th cohort of bachelor’s students for the academic year 2023/2024.
The university has announced the venue and schedule for the graduation ceremony, which will be held at Al-Hussein Youth City (Cultural Palace) for the fall, spring, and expected summer graduates as follows:
- Saturday, August 24, 2024, in two sessions:
- First session: 12:00 PM for bachelor’s students from the faculties of Business, Engineering, Arts, and Educational Sciences. Their rehearsal will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
- Second session: 4:00 PM for bachelor’s students from the faculties of Law, Information Technology, Media, and Architecture and Design. Their rehearsal will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
- Sunday, August 25, 2024:
- 5:00 PM for master’s, higher diploma, and bachelor’s pharmacy students. Their rehearsal will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
The university emphasizes the importance of adhering to the following:
- Collecting academic gowns from the university’s storage department starting Sunday morning, August 4, 2024.
- Collecting invitation cards during the rehearsals on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Cultural Palace - Al-Hussein Youth City.
- Attending the graduation rehearsal is mandatory. Those who miss the rehearsal at the specified times will be barred from attending the graduation ceremony.
- Graduates must be present at the venue an hour before the ceremony starts.
