Zarqa University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Public Administration Institute
Today, Tuesday, 6/8/2024, Zarqa University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Public Administration Institute aimed at exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation in sustainable development in Jordan.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Aladdin Sadiq, and on behalf of the institute by the institute's General Director, Engineer Siham Al-Khawalda, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Dr. Reda Al-Mawadhiyah.
The agreement stipulates the implementation of training programs in various fields of public administration, information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Additionally, it includes cooperation in the area of e-training platforms, organizing joint conferences and workshops, as well as conducting studies, consultations, and providing technical support for activities.
Sadiq stated that the MOU aims to strengthen cooperation between the university and the institute to serve mutual interests in supporting and developing sustainable development in the local community. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two sides and the exchange of expertise, which positively impacts the educational process and scientific research. He highlighted the university's commitment to collaborating with and serving Jordanian governmental and private institutions through its resources, expertise, and educational and research outputs.
Sadiq affirmed that the MOU will open wide horizons for students and faculty members in both research and education, including exposure to new experiences and available academic programs.
It is worth noting that the institute is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of public sector employees and building functional and institutional capacities through developing and implementing specialized training programs, as well as conducting research, studies, and consultations in fields that contribute to capacity building and enhancement.
