Amman—Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah shared a video of the national football team during their final training session ahead of their match against Kuwait on Thursday, part of the third and decisive round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
His Highness wrote on the video: "All the best to our Nashama team today."
The national team begins its campaign in the third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a match against Kuwait on Thursday evening at Amman International Stadium.
Jordan is in Group B, alongside South Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, and Palestine.
The team held its training session on Tuesday evening at Petra Stadium in Al Hussein Youth City, under the leadership of coach Jamal Sellami, with all players participating following the arrival of those playing abroad.
The national team will face Palestine in the second round of the qualifiers next Tuesday in Malaysia.
The Jordan Football Association has chartered a private plane to transport the team to Malaysia to ensure their comfort, given the close timing of the matches against Kuwait and Palestine, in pursuit of strong results.
According to the qualification system, the teams are divided into three groups, each consisting of six teams.
The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the third- and fourth-placed teams will compete in the fourth round of qualifiers.
