Three people were killed and others injured in new simultaneous explosions of communication devices in various areas of Lebanon for the second consecutive day, according to the official Lebanese National News Agency on Wednesday.
The agency reported, "Three martyrs fell due to the explosion of devices in the town of Sohmor in Western Beqaa."
It added that "several injured were transferred to hospitals in the Baalbek area following a new cyber attack that targeted, in addition to pagers, other wireless communication devices."
A pager exploded inside a car in Marjayoun, according to the agency. It also reported "explosions of old pagers inside homes" in Hezbollah's stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs and in the south of the country, resulting in injuries.
