The President of Zarqa University, Professor Nidal Al-Rumahi, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Ahmed Rayan, met with general directors, nursing managers, directors of continuous education and training units, and healthcare practitioners from seven hospitals in Jordan.
The forum aimed to discuss current and future training opportunities in the healthcare sector, explore potential improvements with practical training partners from various public and private health institutions, and hear feedback and recommendations from healthcare professionals regarding the training of nursing students at the university.
Al-Rumahi stated that Zarqa University is committed to enhancing the practical and academic skills of its students by providing intensive and distinguished training opportunities in collaboration with national institutions from both the public and private sectors.
Rayan emphasized that the forum seeks, in partnership with numerous hospitals, to offer the best practical training methods for nursing students, which positively impacts their overall development.
He noted that the forum included a joint session between experts and faculty members of the Nursing Faculty, addressing the challenges of practical training in hospitals, as well as a visit to the nursing laboratories and meetings with students from different academic years.
At the end of the visit, Al-Rumahi honoured the hospital directors, nursing managers, and training and education experts with commemorative shields from the university.
