His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan honoured Orange Jordan for achieving the "Recognised for Excellence" certificate with a 5-star rating during the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence ceremony held at the Cultural Palace in Al Hussein Youth City on Monday, 30 September 2024. The event was attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah and HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein. Orange Jordan’s CEO, Philippe Mansour, received the award from the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence.
Orange Jordan is the first telecommunications company in the Middle East and Jordan to receive the EFQM "Recognised for Excellence" certificate, with a distinguished evaluation based on the EFQM Excellence Model.
Mansour expressed his immense pride in the royal honour, highlighting it as a testament to Orange’s commitment to excellence. He emphasised that receiving the "Recognised for Excellence" certificate from the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence reflects the company’s dedication to the highest standards of excellence, and serves as a moment to celebrate the relentless efforts of its team, which were pivotal in reaching this milestone.
He added that this certificate from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) is a motivation for Orange to continue applying best practices in development and continuous improvement, focusing on service quality and customer satisfaction. It also demonstrates the team’s dedication to embedding the values of innovation and progress.
It is worth noting that a group of specialised assessors conducted interviews and reviewed Orange Jordan’s documents to provide a comprehensive overview of the company’s performance improvement and strategy deployment, aligning with the needs and expectations of partners and customers. This was done under the EFQM 2020 Excellence Model, which provides a comprehensive management framework. This prestigious recognition is among the highest global accolades awarded to companies that achieve business management excellence.
