America, Britain, France, and Germany all play the same tune, saying, “Israel has the right to defend itself.” Based on that, they provide it with money, weapons, and intelligence. But when we ask, “Does Israel have the right to occupy other people's lands?” they all fall silent.
In reality, the true statement has become: "Israel has the right to occupy other people’s lands by force, and those people do not have the right to confront the occupier and defend themselves or their land."
This is what is happening in international politics today. Meanwhile, the Arab regimes hear that loathsome phrase, “Israel has the right to defend itself.” When they respond by calling for an end to the occupation, they receive no answer. Yet, they continue to stagnate in place, repeating the same empty talk about the two-state solution and reviving peace talks! It’s a regime talking to itself, spinning in a void without vision or strategy.
The clear picture now is that America and Europe are blind in their support of Israel, while turning a deaf ear to the Arabs.
When Israel commits a massacre or assassinations, and a party threatens retaliation, the American-European chorus starts singing the same tune: “Cease escalation and prevent the conflict from spreading!”
The Arabs know that the West’s policy is blind, and their ears are deaf to our cause. Yet, they persist, tirelessly collaborating and allying with America and Europe.
For over a hundred years, Britain has deceived us, France has sold us out, America has exploited us, and Israel has occupied and attacked us. Israel openly declares its desire to expand eastwards, breaking treaties. Yet, we continue to walk into the slaughterhouse on our own feet, showing extraordinary flexibility in economic cooperation—energy, water, diplomacy, and security—and we rejoice when the elegant Blinken decides to visit the region to ensure no one has yet awakened.
History always proves that a nation possessing a spirit of resistance will not die. What the Arab regime fails to realise, or refuses to trouble itself with, is that the seventh of October will not resemble the days following the upcoming October, and the region's impending labour pains could mark a strategic turning point in history. Regardless of the military outcome of the ongoing war, what cannot be ignored is that the circle of vengeance has widened significantly, and its diameter now extends beyond the Middle East. The millions angered by the Arab regime and the multitudes bitter over its silence are growing. The orphans seeking vengeance number in the hundreds of thousands, and the Jewish soldiers no longer frighten anyone, nor will the Arab regime remain unchanged. The rising power from the Far East is unsettling the West, and polarisation in both directions is intensifying.
Amidst this whirlwind, no one on the Arab side has a strategy for the future. The Arab armies have lost their fighting doctrine, the leaderships are silently competing and conflicting, and the alliances with Western powers—both public and hidden—are contradictory to history.
The Arabs possess a strategic position on the globe and hold the keys to power and resources, yet they lack unity, political will, and vision.
This is the same historical image from the mid-12th century until Nur ad-Din Zangi emerged from Aleppo to unite the nations and face the enemies. Salah ad-Din Al-Ayyubi then completed the mission after him by liberating Jerusalem in 1187 CE.
The deliverance from our current state lies only with God Almighty, and perhaps the coming years will bring monumental events.
