AMMAN — Jordan’s national football team is set to face Oman today at 7 PM at the Amman International Stadium in the fourth round of the final World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

The Jordanian team is looking to secure a victory to compensate for their loss against South Korea last Thursday. Jordan currently sits third in Group B with 4 points, behind South Korea and Iraq, who each have 7 points, while Oman is in fourth place with 3 points.

Coach's Comments:
Jordan's head coach, Jamal Salami, acknowledged the difficulty of the upcoming match but expressed confidence in his team's readiness both mentally and physically. Yazan Al-Naimat, who was previously injured, will be available thanks to the medical team’s efforts.

Salami also stated that the team preferred to send Mousa Al-Tamari back to Montpellier to continue his treatment, and he highlighted Oman's strength, particularly in attack. Nonetheless, he expressed full confidence in his players, emphasizing their determination to qualify for the World Cup.
