He also stressed the significance of teachers taking pride in their profession, given the growing role of sports as an important economic factor both locally and globally. He highlighted the crucial role of physical education teachers in fostering a well-educated sporting generation, moving away from traditional teaching methods and the neglect of physical education classes. He emphasized the shift towards making physical education a core subject with educational resources and final grades at the end of the academic year.
HRH Princess Aya Bint Al-Faisal visited the university's pavilion at the accompanying exhibition, which featured participation from numerous universities and companies connected to the sports sector. Students Munther Al-Wahsh and Hazem Sayegh from the Department of Physical Education and Health briefed the Princess and attendees on the history of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and its pioneering role as the first of its kind in Jordan's private universities. They also discussed the department's contribution to modern physical and health education, and its role in graduating a group of teachers and trainers currently employed across various sectors.
The students also highlighted the faculty's efforts to attract top Jordanian athletes by offering generous scholarships for both bachelor's and master's degree programs, as part of the university's community role in supporting these exceptional national talents.
Additionally, the students participated in several conference sessions that focused on sports sciences and their practical applications.
