The Jordan Tourism Board concluded its participation in ITB Asia 2024, held in Singapore from October 23 to 25, featuring several Jordanian travel agencies, the Jordanian Embassy in Singapore, the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.
Dr. Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, emphasized that this participation aligns with the Board's strategy to promote Jordan's diverse tourism products and attract more Asian tourists. He highlighted that ITB Asia provides an ideal platform for networking with the Asian tourism sector and exchanging expertise.
Arabiyat added that the event presents a golden opportunity to forge strategic partnerships to strengthen Jordan's tourism sector, aiming to market the Kingdom as a premier tourist destination with comprehensive travel packages for Asian markets. He further stated that this participation reflects the Board's ongoing commitment to boosting Jordan’s tourism industry and attracting more visitors worldwide.
The exhibition featured numerous meetings and activities to strengthen partnerships between Jordanian and Asian tourism companies. Participants showed notable interest in Jordan's heritage and natural sites. During the event, the Board held bilateral meetings with Asian travel agencies, leading tourism associations, and global airlines to enhance cooperation and expand tourism networks between Jordan and Asia.
