Arab Bank recently renewed its strategic partnership with the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development to support the foundation’s role in improving education and developing community projects in Jordan. This collaboration supports the foundation’s leading programs and initiatives across various fields, including enhancing the education sector, supporting orphans, child protection, youth empowerment, and promoting the role of women in society.
Through the renewed cooperation agreement, Arab Bank will continue its contributions to elevating the quality of education via the "My Child’s First Years" and "Read" programs implemented by the Queen Rania Foundation to support early childhood education, as well as supporting efforts to improve educational infrastructure and environment through the "Madrasati" initiative. Additionally, the bank will provide university scholarships through the "Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans" to help secure their future, strengthen economic independence for families, and support family and child protection programs through its ongoing support for the Jordan River Foundation. The bank also supports students' mental and educational well-being through the "Healthy Schools Program" with the Royal Health Awareness Society.
Arab Bank is enhancing teachers' skills and educational capabilities through the "Teach with Confidence" program in collaboration with the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, and is improving the school environment with the "My Beautiful Environment" project, in partnership with the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education. It is also raising children’s awareness of significant social and national issues through the "Community Engagement Program" in collaboration with the Children’s Museum and equipping students with necessary job market skills through free courses offered via the "Edraak" platform.
Arab Bank has been a key supporter of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development since 2014, playing a pivotal role in supporting numerous initiatives in education and development, including the Jordan River Foundation, the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, and the Queen Rania Teacher Academy. This partnership has contributed to enhancing the lives of thousands of students and families across the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in sustainability and social responsibility, reflecting its commitment to strengthening its economic, social, and environmental impact by working closely with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development. The bank's social responsibility program, "Together," is a testament to this approach, encompassing various community initiatives and activities across sectors such as health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women's empowerment.
