Aysawi: Jordan, Guided by Royal Directives, Continues Sending Aid to Gaza and Lebanon, Calls for an End to Israeli Aggression

Amman - October 31, 2024 - Royal Court Chief Youssef Hassan Aysawi met today with a delegation from the Al-Ta'ani tribe at the Hashemite Royal Court.
At the outset of the meeting, Aysawi highlighted Jordan's stance and King Abdullah II’s efforts to halt Israeli aggression in Gaza and address violations in the West Bank.
Aysawi reaffirmed Jordan’s leading role in supporting Arab causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, which he emphasized as central to Jordan’s interests.
He further noted that Jordan’s response to the aggression in Gaza has been clear, strong, and aligned with Jordan’s historical principles, reflected in King Abdullah II’s active engagement at both regional and international levels.
Aysawi underscored the significance of King Abdullah’s address to the UN General Assembly, which conveyed a firm stance on the Palestinian plight and exposed the world to the magnitude of Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
He added that, while Jordanians continue to solidarity with Palestinian rights and condemn the aggression, Jordan, both officially and publicly, continues to dispatch aid through all available channels.
Aysawi detailed Jordan's ongoing efforts, under royal directives, to send relief convoys, deploy field hospitals, and conduct airlifts for urgent medical aid, efforts in which King Abdullah himself has been involved.
He highlighted the "Hope Restoration" initiative, launched under royal guidance, aiming to assist over 14,000 amputees by providing prosthetic limbs. Additionally, Jordan has dispatched a maternal and neonatal field hospital to Khan Younis.
Aysawi also recognized the support of Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein, both of whom back King Abdullah’s endeavours to aid the Palestinian people.
On a related note, Aysawi conveyed King Abdullah's affirmation of Jordan’s support for Lebanon's sovereignty in the face of Israeli aggression, with directives to extend all possible assistance.
In their remarks, the speakers expressed pride in Jordan's positions and the King's efforts in supporting the people of Gaza and the West Bank.
They pledged their loyalty to King Abdullah and their commitment to safeguarding Jordan's security, stability, and achievements, stating that they would continue to uphold Jordan’s resilience and defend national interests.
The delegation emphasized their readiness to respond to any call from the Hashemite leadership and the military to counter threats against Jordan.
