Irbid - Minister of Youth Engineer Yazan Al-Shdeifat inspected the readiness of Al-Hassan Youth City Stadium in Irbid Governorate this morning to host professional league matches.

During the field tour, accompanied by Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum, Ministry Secretary-General Dr. Hussein Al-Jabour, Irbid Provincial Council Chairman Khaldoun Bani Hani, City Director Omar Al-Azzam, and several local club presidents, Al-Shdeifat affirmed that the ministry is fully committed to preparing and maintaining sports facilities through ongoing inspections and maintenance.

Al-Shdeifat praised the collaborative efforts with Irbid’s governorate, provincial council, and municipalities in advancing youth and sports initiatives in the area, particularly in Al-Hassan Youth City, which serves as a vital recreational and sports outlet for the local community.

He reviewed the progress on improving the field surface, preparing locker rooms, lighting, seating, the gymnastics hall, as well as cleaning, painting city fences, surrounding areas, and safety measures.

Al-Shdeifat noted that an outdoor gym is being developed to provide visitors with a space for various fitness activities.
