The International Arab Islamic Bank recently sponsored the 11th International Conference organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Yarmouk University. Titled "Applications of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Sports Sciences," the event was held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah Bint Faisal, with over 64 researchers from seven Arab and international countries, alongside participants from Jordanian universities and sports institutions.
The conference aimed to provide a robust platform for participants to explore topics in sports medicine and sports sciences, focusing on their connection to health and athletic performance in the digital age. It also facilitated knowledge exchange among researchers and specialized sports academic institutions, fostering a research culture in students through AI tools.
Mr. Iyad Al-Assali, General Manager of the International Arab Islamic Bank, emphasized that the bank’s participation aligns with its commitment to supporting various activities and the exceptional academic role of Yarmouk University in advancing sports and education. He noted the bank’s dedication to promoting the sports movement and academic events, enhancing the role of sports in sustainable development for Jordan.

At the close of the event, Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah Bint Faisal presented a commemorative shield to the International Arab Islamic Bank in recognition of its sponsorship and support for the conference.
