Amman - Ibn Sina University for Medical Sciences has entered the world of smart cards through a recent agreement with Cairo Amman Bank. This partnership will transform student and faculty IDs into "multi-use smart cards."
By adopting this service offered by Cairo Amman Bank, Ibn Sina University joins a group of institutions in the local banking sector dedicated to enhancing services for students.
The agreement was signed by Cairo Amman Bank’s CEO, Dr. Kamal Al-Bakri, and the University President, Prof. Darwish Badran.
Cairo Amman Bank’s success in establishing a strong partnership between the economic and higher education sectors highlights its commitment to national development and support for the country’s people and institutions.
The smart university card serves as an ID allowing access to campus facilities, a payment tool for transactions within and beyond Jordan, an online shopping tool, and an ATM card.
Cardholders can recharge their cards at any Cairo Amman Bank branch across the kingdom or via electronic payment kiosks, to be introduced on campus soon.
Additionally, cardholders enjoy discounts when using the card at a wide range of partner retailers across the kingdom.
