Amman – Orange Jordan has inaugurated the Orange Innovation Lab at Mutah University, joining the company’s network of 50 locations under its Digital Centres umbrella. This initiative aims to sustainable impact and offer young people across Jordan opportunities to make their mark in the digital and entrepreneurial sectors.
Through training courses, workshops, and capacity-building programs hosted at the Orange Innovation Lab, students will be able to transform their innovative entrepreneurial ideas into viable business models ready for incubation or growth acceleration. The lab also aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and market demands by enhancing students' skills.
CEO of Orange Jordan, Philippe Mansour, expressed pride in the ongoing partnership with Mutah University, noting that the new lab will help expand Orange’s programs to reach all governorates, increase the number of beneficiaries, and empower youth in the digital and entrepreneurial landscape by providing modern tools and skills that broaden their career prospects.
Mutah University President, Dr. Salama Saleh Al-Naimat, emphasized the importance of this collaboration between the academic and private sectors, commending Orange Jordan’s role in supporting Jordanian youth and equipping them to join the workforce effectively. He noted that the lab is a key step towards the university’s goals of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
This step aligns with Orange Jordan’s role as a leading digital provider and its slogan, “Always with you,” making the new lab a creative hub for youth in Karak to reach the widest possible range of beneficiaries.
