Zain Launches Cybersecurity, AI Training for Mutah Military Cadets

In an effort to equip university students with critical modern technical skills and enhance their ability to confront rapidly evolving digital challenges, Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), in partnership with the Cyber Shield Academy of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), has conducted a specialized training program for military wing students at Mutah University. The program included the participation of 825 officers, non-commissioned officers, and cadets.

The event was attended by Brigadier General Attallah Al-Hammad, Vice President of Mutah University – Military Wing; Brigadier General Abdul Karim Al-Sbeila, Commander of the Military Science Faculty; Brigadier General Dr. Youssef Al-Badayneh, Commander of the Police Sciences Faculty; along with their deputies, academic staff from the Military Wing’s Academic Affairs Department, and personnel and cadets from both the Military and Police Science faculties.

The Cyber Shield Academy delivered training focused on artificial intelligence, its various applications, and the positive and negative impacts of this technology on different aspects of life, particularly in the military field. The program also covered the fundamentals of cybersecurity and the latest defense techniques against cyber threats, emphasizing the role of these technologies in defense and warfare and reviewing the latest advancements in these vital areas.

Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) specifically designed this program for military wing students at Mutah University to help build the technological defense capabilities of individuals within military institutions. By equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to keep pace with digital developments, the program aims to elevate the technical proficiency of personnel within the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army – and security agencies, thereby strengthening their capacity to face future challenges in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

It is worth noting that Cyber Shield Academy, part of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), specializes in offering practical training courses and programs in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and encryption, supporting various governmental, private, and academic sectors through qualified staff proficient in the latest advancements in future technologies.
