Several second-division clubs in Irbid Governorate, including Shabab Houran, Shabab Howarah, Deir Abi Saeed, Taybeh, Erhaba, Hareema, Haritha, and Saham, as well as clubs from Mafraq Governorate like Khaldiya, Umm al-Surab, and Raba’ al-Sarhan, alongside clubs from Karak and Madaba such as Ghor al-Safi, Al-Wehda, and Al-Aliya, have expressed strong disappointment with Executive Committee members Amer Abu Ubaid and Wael Shaqirat.

These members voted in favour of relegating 15 second-division clubs to the third division without fully understanding the details of the issue.

The clubs questioned how respected sports figures could vote on such a significant decision through a group chat rather than attending an in-person discussion.

The club presidents highlighted that these clubs have strong fan bases who not only support their teams but also unwavering support for Al-Hussein Club, recently congratulating them on their league championship win. Additionally, their fans consistently rally behind the national team in Asian competitions and World Cup qualifiers.
