Hussein Youth City is preparing to host fans in support of the national football team as they face Iraq in the World Cup qualifiers this Thursday.

The Director-General of Hussein Youth City, Bassam Al-Khalaileh, announced that giant screens have been set up in Amman Stadium to broadcast the Jordan-Iraq match.

Al-Khalaileh added that large crowds are expected at the stadium, with many of the free tickets provided by the city for the event already distributed.

He mentioned that Jordanian singer Saad Abu Tayeh will perform songs for the national team before the match and during halftime.

The stadium gates will open at 5:00 PM on Thursday to welcome fans.

The match, hosted at Basra’s Palm Trunk Stadium in Iraq, will kick off at 7:15 PM and is a critical third-round World Cup qualifier between the national teams of Jordan and Iraq.

The Jordanian team concluded its technical and physical preparations for the game, which will take place at 7:15 PM on Thursday, November 14, at Basra International Stadium. The team, led by coach Jamal Salami, arrived in Basra on Wednesday afternoon and completed their final training session at the stadium, focusing on the tactical approach they will adopt for the match.
