Amman, 19 November – The Jordan Logistics Association (JLA) has been officially accredited by FIATA to deliver the FIATA International Freight Forwarding Diploma programme.
JLA President Nabil Al-Khatib described the diploma as the first comprehensive programme covering all aspects of freight forwarding, trade, and logistics. He emphasised its role in enhancing the capabilities of freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics companies.
Al-Khatib noted that this accreditation is the result of a year-long effort by the association and a team of expert trainers in various logistics and freight fields. The team developed curriculum and study plans aligned with FIATA's global standards and academic principles.
The programme aims to advance the skills of professionals to meet modern international standards and will be supported by the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission, which will assist participating students.
Al-Khatib highlighted that the programme’s accreditation marks a significant achievement for the association in its mission to advance the freight and logistics sector. Participants will receive diplomas in logistics and supply chain management, setting the programme apart within the industry.
He also pointed out that the programme will benefit land, sea, and air logistics sectors both within Jordan and neighbouring countries, contributing positively to the industry’s operations and services.
